Explore the latest advances in Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), from emerging diagnostic technologies and noninvasive risk stratification to evolving therapeutic strategies and the management of PSC-associated inflammatory bowel disease (PSC-IBD).
Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) remains a challenging cholestatic liver disease characterized by progressive biliary injury, variable clinical outcomes, and limited established disease-modifying treatment options. Recent advances in imaging, noninvasive fibrosis assessment, prognostic modeling, and emerging therapeutics are reshaping the clinical approach to PSC.
This expert-led webinar will provide a comprehensive update on evolving diagnostic strategies, including advanced magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), quantitative MRCP approaches (MRCP+), magnetic resonance elastography (MRE), and transient elastography (FibroScan). Particular emphasis will be placed on the clinical application of these technologies for disease monitoring, risk stratification, and prognostication.
The session will also explore emerging biomarkers, contemporary risk assessment tools, and recent developments in pharmacologic therapies, including therapeutic considerations for patients with PSC-associated inflammatory bowel disease (PSC-IBD) and the evolving role of anti-integrin agents.
Designed for practicing gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and trainees, this webinar will translate recent scientific advances into practical clinical insights and highlight important areas of ongoing research and unmet clinical needs.
