Dr. Marta Tejedor Bravo is a Transplant Hepatologist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed fellowship training in liver transplant at Saint James's University Hospital in Leeds and holds a PhD from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her clinical expertise spans pre- and post-liver transplant care, viral hepatitis, portal hypertension, and advanced endoscopy, complemented by active involvement in international clinical research networks. She has published widely on liver transplantation, MELD scoring, functional gastrointestinal disorders, and hepatic venous pressure gradient.
