Dr. Craig Lammert is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is a practicing gastroenterologist and hepatologist at IU Health and Eskenazi Health, with a clinical and research focus on autoimmune liver diseases, including autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Dr. Lammert is the founder and Executive Director of the Autoimmune Hepatitis Association and leads NIH-funded research into the genetic and environmental risk factors underlying autoimmune hepatitis. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is an active member of the International Autoimmune Hepatitis Group and AASLD.
