About
Dr. Sencan Acar is a gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist currently serving as Assistant Professor at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital's Department of Gastroenterology and Liver Transplant Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at Haseki Education and Research Hospital in Istanbul and subsequently pursued fellowship training in gastroenterology at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine, with additional observership in transplant hepatology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests span liver transplantation, acute-on-chronic liver failure, hepatocellular carcinoma, autoimmune liver diseases, and advanced endoscopy.
