Dr. ŞENCAN ACARMD

Dr. Şencan Acar graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and is a gastroenterologist specializing in hepatology and liver transplantation. She is currently based at the Department of Gastroenterology, Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, where she is actively engaged in clinical practice and translational research in transplant hepatology. Her work centers on the clinical determinants of liver regeneration, contributes to the evolving discourse on global liver transplantation systems, and optimizes post-transplant outcomes. Her academic output includes peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national/international congresses. Through a combination of experimental rigor and a clinically grounded perspective, Dr. Acar continues to advance precision and strategy in contemporary hepatology and liver transplantation.
