Prof. Dr. Asmita Wele is Director Research and Professor at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved and Research Center, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, India, with over 35 years of experience in Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine. She has served as Ayurveda Chair Professor at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, and holds an Honorary Professorship there. Her research encompasses Ayurvedic pharmacology, drug development, clinical trials, and neurocognition, with over 60 publications and leadership roles in national and international advisory bodies including the Pharmacopoeia Commission of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy. She is a recipient of multiple prestigious awards including the Vaidya Sundarlal Joshi Shodha Puraskar and Vaidya Chandraprakash Award. She has delivered over 150 talks on scientific and public forums.
