Dr. Ashraf Omar Abdel Aziz Osman is a Professor of Hepatology and Tropical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and a Liver Transplant Consultant at Cairo University Hospitals and Dar Al-Fouad Hospital, with more than four decades of clinical and academic experience. He is the Founder and Director of the Multidisciplinary HCC Clinic at Cairo University and serves as President of the Egyptian Society of Liver Cancer (ESLC), Chairman of the MENA NCCN Hepatobiliary Cancer Committee, and Co-Founder of the Africa Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Cancer Consortium. His work spans hepatocellular carcinoma care, liver transplantation, international guideline development, and capacity building across Egypt, the Middle East and North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa.
