Diagnostic Tools

• AIH: Simplified scoring system incorporating antibody specificity, IgG levels, histology, and absence of viral hepatitis

- ≥6 points = probable AIH

- ≥7 points = definite AIH

• PBC: Elevated alkaline phosphatase + positive AMA; biopsy shows lymphocytic destruction of bile ducts
• PSC: MRCP is the primary diagnostic modality; biopsy shows portal fibrosis and non-specific portal inflammation (non-diagnostic alone)
